Google announced the reason behind of Google+ account closure
Google has stated that the Consumer version of Google Plus will be closed on April 2, 2019. After the security data breach of more than 50 million users, the company has decided to close Google+ service. Earlier it was decided to close this service in August but due to the security bug, it is now being shut down in April.
In an official post, the company said, “On April 2, if you have created any page of your Google Account and Google+, it will be closed. We will start deleting content from the consumer’s Google+ account. With Google Plus’s album archive, all your pages will be deleted with your photos and videos. Users can download and save their content before April. The photos will not be deleted which have been backed up on Google Photos.”
Google+ Sign-in button will be replaced to Google sign-in
Users will not be able to create new accounts on Google Plus since February 4th. Google+ sign-in button will be replaced by Google sign-in. The company has also prepared the FAQ page related to it, in response to all questions related to it.
