Japan-based Fujifilm has extended its X Series range of mirrorless digital cameras with the launch of Fujifilm X-A5 in India. It is priced at Rs 49,999 and is available only on the e-commerce platform, Amazon. The new camera comes in three color variants – Brown, Pink and Black.
The camera comes with a lot of features like 180-degree tilting back LCD screen, built-in Bluetooth technology, and an extended battery life.
Specifications, features and more Fujifilm X-A5 beast of a powerful 24.2MP APS-C sensor equipped with a phase detection autofocus system and an image processing engine, which is 1.5 times speedier than the company’s previous models. Joined with the new collapsible Fujinon XC15-45mmF3.5-5.6 OIS PZ lens, the X-A5 weight only 496g, making it the lightest camera-zoom kit lens combination in the X Series, the company said.

The electric-powered zoom Fujinon XC15-45mmF3.5-5.6 OIS PZ lens has the minimum working distance of only 5cm*4 making it perfect for clear close-up shots, for example, food photography. The X-A5 is equipped with a large rear LCD screen that can rotate 180 degrees. At the point when the screen is turned 180 degrees, the Rear Command Dial automatically switches to the Zoom and Shutter Release function.
The X-A5 comes with reduced noise and camera shake while shooting quick moving objects. In an announcement, the company said that it is the first newly launched X-A Series model to highlight phase detection pixels, originally developed for the X Series’s high-end models.
The camera highlights 17 variations of Advanced Filters including the new ‘Fog Remove‘ and ‘HDR Art‘ and 11 variations of Fujifilm’s Film Simulation Modes. It is built in with Bluetooth low energy technology to allow fast, easy and automatic transfer of still images and videos to paired smartphones and tablet devices.
The X-A5 offers a High-Speed High Definition Video function, allowing users to record High-Definition video up to quad speed for the slow-motion video clip. Its multi-focus mode automatically synthesizes 4K quality pictures with changing the depth of field setting.
Furthermore, the X-A5 is guaranteed to offer the class-leading number of photographs per charge allowing as many as 450 photographs for every single battery charge.
