A world-renowned tech company, Apple is going to launch its online video streaming service today. This service will be launched at 1PM Eastern/10AM Pacific tonight in California.
Apple has recently launched the iPad Mini, iPad Air, Apple Wireless Airpods. After the growing demand for online video streaming, Apple is going to launch its video streaming service or online TV service. This service is being launched on March 25 in the Apple Event, held in California. This service is already being launched in the market on the lines of Amazon Prime, Netflix.
According to media reports, this service was to be launched in April. The company sent media invites a few weeks earlier. However, in the invites sent to the media, the company has not clarified that the service will be launched. The company has just written one line, ‘It’s Show Time’. You can stream this event live on Apple’s official Dedicated Event page.
Apple had given a hint about the introduction of this video streaming service a long time ago. For this, the company had planned to invest $2 billion US dollars (about Rs 14,000 crore). For this, Apple was preparing to enter into online content with Hollywood artists.
The company’s decision has been taken after the day-to-day drop of iPhones sales. Apart from this, Apple is also talking with other companies like HBO and AT&T about the video and streaming service. Apple can also upgrade its iPads or Apple TV devices to this service. On the other hand, Apple can also launch its SmartSpeakers HomePod on the lines of Amazon Alexa.
